You don't need the Crystal to finish the quest.
I didn't have it when I finished it.

I started playing on one server, liked the page, got the bear, but since all my friends transfered, I did too and deleted my old char with the bear. In the new server I unliked the page, liked it again, but still didn't get the crystal, and therefore never finished the quest or got the bear.

Yes you can.
I liked Facebook in a new server, went to the Event Master located in Starglade - and finished the quest.
You should be able to do the same.
