Mount Food

Is there a cap on feeding the mount or something wrong with it? Tried to feed again today and got this :

your mount aptitudes can go as high as specified under the mount tab. note you might not be able to see the whole aptitudes but example my lvl 9 white griffen heal is 461/520 or so (cant see the last digit) but it wont go higher than the maximum
