Beast Soul

I have probably looked right at it and didn't realize it. But could someone either enlighten me about it, or point me in the right direction, because I have no clue what Beast Soul is, other than a tiny wolf appeared besde me at lvl 50 I think

Your beast soul gives you additional stats. You need to collect Dragon Essence to level up your beast soul. Dragon Essence drops in all level 50+ dungeons, from the bosses. It is a chance of drop, not a guaranteed drop. But the stat boosts are nice.
