cant see pet,dragon or nymph following other players except my own

i can't seem to see any pet,nymph,dragon following any other players except my own - i asked my guildies if they put their pets or nymph on "follow" mode and they said they did - is this a new thing or a new bug?pls enlighten us - thank u

Its new thing, probably its made to lessen lag on merged servers.
