My question is what will happen if I divorce? Will my affection and Lovers Oak tree reset?

not sure about that, as i heard all resest if you marrie to another person, it will stay only if you marrie same person again
but cant tell from expirience, just heard from other players

divorce when u do this ur affection lvl stays the same the problem lies with lover's oak being lost and have to start at L1 again (found out today when got new partner)

u should have some1 active cuz the benerfit of parties from a spouse will eventually outweigh lvling the oak bk up.
