What is the latest update on this issue which caused about 50 of us to lose our award?

Absolutely nothing, they don't give a damn. Btw has anyone seen the ToS that this company has. They can completely cut off service without warning, change anything they want at anytime and scam the players as much as they want and there's nothing you can do about it.

that is pretty much ToS of any gaming company, expecially of those hosting browser games. Nothing new there

Pretty sure they're probably gonna brush it under the rug or postpone it until we all forget about it. Would love to be proven wrong though.
