Can someone help me with totems?

I get confused as to what a topaz level is compared to garnet. What is the evolution of a ruby totem called?

What is an "epic" totem?

What are the attributes of the Accursed totem? I got the sanctuary totem and upgraded a lightning totem into it and seem to have way worse fighting power.

Topaz is the orange totem, garnet - purple. I believe Epic also refers to purple totem. The evolve for the ruby is gold. And this is the Accursed totem in topaz quality: .
The Lightning totem gives ATK and Crit stats, Sanctuary gives Dodge and Pdef so probable to have less fire power.
