Second totems

How does the second totem work in a pvp battles? for instant ive got fire totem deployed and my second totem is serpent how does serpent come into play?

Your main totem ( fire ) will have a chance to activate the 2nd totem ( in my case, 20%, but only because I breakthrough first ).
Minmum is 10%, as you upgrade it, gets higher and higher till 100%.
Also, that will take effect as long as your totem lasts.
Example : Gold totem that lasts for 20 turns, from those 20 turns, if you have a 100% chance to cast the 2nd totem, for 20 rounds you will have a double-totem effect.
