  • A question regarding account sharing.

I've been browsing your ToS regarding account sharing, and cant find very much information regarding it on your ToS.

    Cheats/Hacking

You are not permitted under any circumstances or for any reason to cheat or utilize third-party applications or code in order to win at, or gain game points or items from any of our Games. Punishment of violators will be determined on a case-by-case basis. R2Games shall be entitled to file a claim for monetary compensation from anyone deemed to have violated these rules in any way.
You agree not to design, disseminate or use any third party programs designed to change any Game played on R2Games site, nor assist in the design of a third party program that changes any Game played on the site. You will be responsible for any damages to R2Games resulting from any of your use, dissemination or design of such programs, and you agree to pay R2Games liquidated damages in the sum of Hundred Thousand Dollars for each such program, or in the sum of One Thousand Dollars for each time you use a program.
    You may not:
    1) Reverse-engineer, decompile or modify any of the game clients and use it in any way.
    2) Exploit any cheats or errors which you find in our service. Any cheats or errors you discover must be reported immediately to us.
    3) Attempt to access any other user's account.
    4) Misuse any of our customer service facilities.
    5) Deliberately enter false information into any of the forms on our website.
    6) Encourage, or attempt to trick other players into breaking our rules.
    Denial of Access

This was the closes thing i could find regarding the issue, and I don't think it applies at all.

My main concern now is that in about a month, maybe less, I will be working long days for long periods of time. typically being out the door by 6am(8am game time) and not back to my room(I will be in a PTI work camp) around 6-7pm(8-9pm game time). either for 10 to 14 days at a time. with either 4 or 7 days back home. schedule not yet figured out. This means that for a large amount of the time i will be missing a vast majority of in-game events.

Before I started playing Shadowbound. I played a different game by a different company also through Facebook. I met a really awesome lady who later I would give access to my Facebook information so that she could babysit my account for me while i was gone for so long. I spent well over 20,000$ on that game during my time playing it, and never once did she screw me over, And you could trade on there. Since that time we've both quit that game, because it got really boring, and started here. Largely because the Customer support there was god awful, and EVERYTHING that had been added in the last year was purely Pay2Obtain.

So after reviewing your ToS, I couldn't find anything that said I can't willing let her access my account to babysit it for me while I'm out of town. I wish to confirm it though in case I misread something.

If I can't that's fine. I will have to just quit when I go back out there, because it doesn't make sense to keep playing, and spending if I'm missing out on large amounts of stuff everyday.

This is the link I read.

    http://www.r2games.com/about/termsofuse

I actually had to google it since I was never prompt to read/agree to it when I started playing your game. I joined via Facebook.

    Thank you for your time.

It is bannable. End of story. If you give your account information out, you can be banned. If you access someone else's account you can be banned. There is no shades of gray, it is black and white and it will be enforced.

It is looked at as cheating. It is gaining an unfair advantage for a player by having someone play their account when they can't. Simple, you can't play. I'm sorry but you miss out. You do not get to let anyone access your account for you. I will alert the admin to keep a close eye on your account activity, Turkey of S2.

PS> You may want to check out the password section on Terms of Use.

    Your Password

At the time your account is opened, you must set a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and are responsible for any harm resulting from your disclosure, or authorization of the disclosure of your password or from any person's use of your password to gain access to your account or account name. At no time should you respond to an online request for a password other than in connection with the log-on process to the Services. Should it be determined that you did reveal your password to any third parties, R2Games reserves the right to disable the account.

Actually, your name is a matter of record, we have had to look it up several times as you don't post it on bug reports as is required. Have a nice day.
