Complete “Activate Dragonchant” related main quests after completing Class Advancement to unlock the Dragonchant system.
Activation
To activate your Dragonchant mode you need to defeat 5 mirror images of your character with increasing difficulty in Time Vortex. This can be found in the Time Vortex guide.
To be access the dragonchant panel, you can either press D to open the panel or you can click the Dragonchant icon. This is located next to the Mount Icon above the experience bar at bottom of screen.
Improving your dragonchant mode
Symbiosis
Your Dragonchant battle rating is related to your basic battle rating through Symbiosis system. Symbiosis stones are used to upgrade the Symbiosis levels. Higher the level of Symbiosis is, more stats your Dragonchant inherits from equipment and related systems (Equipment Enchant, Gem, Soul Engrave and Smelting). Your basic mode also inherits stats from Dragonchant talismans. Symbiosis stones can be gained from events and by defeating rift lords.
Getting Talismans
There are few ways to get talismans. Quality of talisman chests improves as you progress further, all the way till orange (Legendary).
First, you get talisman chests as you progress in Time Vortex and manage to beat bosses.
Second, occupying post you have cleared for set time will reward you with talismans chests.
Third, defeating rift lord with party will reward you with talisman chests.
Improving the talismans
There are 6 kinds of talismans. Sunlight, Moonlight, Specter, Aegis, Ghoul and Resurgence. Each of them has different kind of set bonuses when equipping 2 or 4 of same kind. Also there is 6 slots, one for each of stats below.
1.PATK/MATK 2.PDEF 3.CRIT 4.HP 5.MDEF 6.BLOCK
Engulfing talismans may help you get better stats on the talismans you plan to use. In the example below, if “Engulf” is clicked system will randomly pick one of the stats on right and give you chance to choose if you want to replace corresponding stat on the left. If you accept, the chosen stat will replace the corresponding stat on left and the talisman on right will be consumed. If you decline, the talisman on right will be consumed. For example, “MDEF 116000” gets chosen by system and player accepts, it will replace the “MDEF 106900”, so talisman becomes stronger.
“Talisman effects” increases the stats of the talisman by the given percent.
Max stats to be gained via Engulf for orange Talismans.
To enchant each talisman you will need EXP talismans. Those can be gained from events, blitzing defeated bosses at Time Vortex or winning fights while defending post and being the Rift Lord. Amount of EXP Talismans required for enchanting increase as you get to higher levels.
Read the descriptions of each talisman type, their set bonuses and potency effects before deciding which talismans you want to focus on.

There are two skill sets: Freeze and Enchantment. Players can choose one skill set to activate, according to the battle scene. Dragonchant skill points are based on character level. 40 initial skill points are guaranteed upon completing class advancement. 1 skill point adds at class level 2. Each 4 class level increases adds 1 skill point. Eventually player will be able to max all skills. Player will also be able to switch between skill sets, so read skill descriptions carefully and decide which suits your style the best.
Battle Beast
Battle Beast can be upgraded with Terra Grass to gain additional stats and starting combo points. Battle Beast level doesn’t affect the Battle Rating of your basic mode. Amount of Terra Grass needed for each level goes up as Battle Beast is upgraded. Higher level battle beasts have different appearances. Terra Grass can be obtained from Events.
Potency
Potency further increases your attributes, talisman set effects and can affect to your and opponents awaken points. Lvl.2 affects your attributes, lvls 4 and 6 affect your talisman set bonuses and lvl. 8 your and/or opponent’s awaken points.
You can choose one potency from each Level to activate. After first activation you can always replace the existing potency with different one or try to increase stars of the one you have. Every time you “Replace” stars can go down or up.
