Marriage Guide
You can get married beginning at Level 36
In order to get married you must have an engagement ring of which you can get 2 ways:
From the Shop for 599 Balens or from Game Box Exchange with your Nickels for the cost of 700 nickels.
Then the fun part is finding that other player that is not married and proposing to her/him.
To propose you can go to a chat window and propose or go to Andrew in Cloud City, you must first be in a party with soon to be spouse. Andrew can be found at the top of the stairs in Cloud City, indicated on the map as Marriage.
Once you have proposed to your other half, and they accept, you are now married. The rings will either show a ring level or still show engagement ring if the other half has never been married. Once you feed the rings with eternal hearts it will show them a ring level and married to you.
For a few days the ceremonies are discounted for you. Though at any time you so wish to have a ceremony, there is no time limits or ceremony limits. Many choose not to have a ceremony, others choose to have one during RAVE weeks or good spender event weeks. The cost of the ceremony goes towards these. As you can see the different ceremonies offer different items for you to use.
I have learned that there are many benefits being married such as stat bonus from increasing the marriage satisfaction or the marriage skills gained by increasing the ring levels.
To do this you need to go to your inventory and click the arrow button on the ring icon underneath your character, above your battle rating.
To increase the satisfaction in your marriage, you can get Rose Hazel a number of ways, from the Venus Shop, the Balen Shop, from your Marriage tree which is located in your farm, from the Mystery Shop and lastly, but not least, the dimensions. You can also find in the same locations the Eternal Hearts to increase your ring level. There is also an option, if you feel generous, to help your spouse in their satisfaction levels. You can only help 5 times a day and it uses bound balens.
One of the best parts of being married, is the Revive and Heal skill. This skill is a wonderful thing to have equipped. When inside a battle it will automatically revives your partner once during the battles. When your partner revives they will automatically restore a % of their HP and restores 50 rage points. To have both partners revive during battle, both revive skills must be set on each player. This skill also clears 3 negative buffs off your partner too.
There are other skills that you can use during battles but none as effective, I feel as the Star & Crescent skill.
There are other skills such as the shield, this provides a shield absorbing some damage for you. Around a minimum of 30%. It will only last 2 turns. Both of you have to be alive in order for the skill to be used. When both are alive use the hotkey E to activate.
Another skill that can be handy is the Awaken Suppression skill. It will reduce all enemies awakening by a minimum of 500 points. it can only be used once during the battle. Both of you have to be alive in order to use it.
Venus Battle is also a couple's chance to challenge other couples and win Venus points to spend in the Venus shop. You must be in a party with your spouse to sign up. Although it is not a required that both of you enter the battle in Venus Wars. As long as one of you enter, you will gain points. To enter the the battle which is Sundays at 8pm server time, click on the icon in top bar, and then click start.
While in Venus battle, you need to gain points in order to advance to the next grouping to gain more Venus points. The minimum points required to gain some goodies is 200 points. You need a total of 800 points to enter the Silver grouping, 1500 points to enter the Gold grouping and then 2600 points to enter the top group, Diamond.
Inside the Venus battle as the timer approaches for the toughest fight of your life, you can gain skills from the blessing points you gain each round.
You can either choose to gain buffs or gain extra points. Click the Blessings button.
Once you have clicked this icon, you will then be faced with a screen to choose from extra points or buffs.
Most if not all players, will opt for the points increase items. This is due to the titles you can obtain for getting 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at the end of the season.
One of the most helpful tips I have found with Venus wars, same as any battle, is taking off the Willpowers due to winning almost all the time on timers and changing into dragonchant mode due to the buffs. Personally this works best for me and is something I recommend to my fellow guild mates. The only battle this is not recommended to drop your willpower is Imperial Wars. You need all the help you can get for that.
If you divorce and remarry in the middle of a Venus Wars season, you will need to wait till end of the season and then register with your new other half. If you or your other half was registered during the season, the registered player can still participate, unfortunately, the one who wasn't registered will not be able to participate yet. If you were both registered with different spouses, divorced then married each other, you can still participate in your own battles, just wont be together till the new season.
You can also divorce your spouse if you are not happy or spouse has not played in 5 days by visiting Andrew in Cloud City, divorce is free if the spouse hasn't logged for 5 days or longer.
