    2. Stats: even though these are covered elsewhere I will go over them quickly
    a. Primary stats: These stats help to derive your more important stats and will directly influence your strength and Battle Rating
    i. Strength
    1. Not a major focus for Mages, but do not completely ignore this stat as it will give you PDEF
    a. 1 Str = PATK +4 and PDEF +1
    ii. Armor (Also noted in different areas of the game as Defense)
    1. Critical for survival the higher your armor the higher your MDEF/PDEF
    a. 1 Armor/Defense = MDEF +4 and PDEF +4
    iii. Intellect
    1. Your bread and butter, this stat directly impacts both your MATK and MDEF
    a. 1 Intellect = MATK +4 and MDEF +1
    iv. Endurance
    1. More hp, enough said
    a. 1 Endurance = 20 HP
    v. Charisma
    1. More Charisma equals more troops to defend you.
    a. 1 Charisma = 1 troop
    b. Secondary
    i. Physical Attack:
    1. Largely ignored provides you no benefit
    ii. Physical Defense
    1. Protection from anyone beating on you with sticks, stones, swords or battering rams (Knights and Archers)
    iii. Magic Attack
    1. How much you will hurt your enemies and heal yourself and/or your party members/troops
    iv. Magic Defense
    1. Protection from spells
    v. Critical
    1. Depending on your play style (and Astrals) you will either ignore this or live by it
    vi. Block
    1. Mostly a tank skill, I have not had much chance to build this up.
    vii. HP
    1. In combat when you reach zero you are dead. Also directly impacts how much you heal with Suntoria.
    viii. Troop Count
    1. How many troops do you bring with you
