Because there is no such thing as a Chocobo in R2's wartune. Only place I saw it was in ********.
You get it from the last event that we had. Sorry to say you cannot get it now.

Well ******** is just like wartune
Except that the english is terrible and the names are weird..
But the mount is named Chocobo instead of Hawkstrider.

It's the Hawkstrider. Some players call it chocobo, because it looks like one. XD It's from the Ancient Spirits event. Which is over.

I just started playing the other day. Does anybody know if it'll return? i'll take my Chocobo in gold.

It'll probably return to the mystery cash shop at some point. May be a while before it does. But other past event mounts are available there currently.
