Experience scrolls

A question to the general public regarding experience scrolls.
Where do you suggest I use them? During multiplayer-dungeon runs or during solo catacomb runs? Which of the two offers the biggest amount of experience I can gain?

I generally save them when I do a solo campaign run as I can get 4-5 runs before it expires plus this lets me use up the stamina as I was in a dead zone, level 33, and had no new places to go to until I reached level 34.

The multiplayer one could be a issue as it takes time to start another one generally unless you are doing with guild mates or friends and the catacomb does not take long to do right now as I can only get past the 5th boss.

Do the EXP scrolls work in Campaign, Hall of Heroes and Catacombs? Anywhere else?
