It truly depends on what you define as "worth".

A +50 to all stats mount will increase your BR by about:

50 STR: 4 PATK and 1 PDEF: 200 PATK and 50 PDEF

50 INT: 4 MATK and 1 MDEF: 200 MATK and 50 MDEF

50 DEF: 4 PDEF and 4 MDEF: 200 PDEF and 200 MDEF

50 END: 20 HP: 1000 HP

So assuming that these statistics for Battle Ratings are correct: (Taken from Wartune wiki)

Attribute
Strength 5
Intelligence 5.2
Armor 8
Endurance 4

250 BR for Strength
260 BR for Intellect
400 BR for Defense
200 BR for Endurance

Total it equals 1160 BR, for a price of 1995 Balens.

So for about 6000 Balens, you get an increase of about 3.5K BR.

Whether that's worth it is up to you.


Note: There's also the fact that buying a specific mount gives you the ability to train your mount to a higher level. However, that also requires Balens or Mount Training Whips, so I won't go into that.

Well, it appears mount attributes maximum level is 385. I have bought a couple mounts after I hit that level, and it did not change. Of course, the mounts themselves do add to the total attribute you get, just do not mechanically add that +x to attributes as the mount implies.
