Ask formula for blocking

May I ask that is the formula of blocking the same as described in the following website that

% block = (1-0.9995^block score)*100 % ?

I am a lv 40 knight who would want to do experiments on how efficient will the blocking go.

the wiki is way off...i know ppl with 6k block that dont block 100%
