astral determination for archers

Hi,

I have read that the astral for determination (% increase in crit base damage) is very useful for archers. But I have a doubt:

I have the enhanced determination astral (5%), but if I use it, I dont see any difference in the critical stat) for my archer.

My critical is 126 + 1887 without the astral, and exactly the same with it. Shoudnt my crit increase in 5%? Or it doesnt work that way?

Crit is the stat that affects your %age chance to hit Critically.

Determination increases the damage that a Critical hit deals.

so my damage (any time I hit critical) is increased even though I dont see any difference in the stats, did I understand it correctly?

exactly right any time you hit a critical your damage is increased by the % the astral says. enhanced determination is 5% per astral level so maxed at 50% bonus damage when hitting a critical.
