raiders newbie question

I'm level 45 and been to raiders a few times and have been stripped naked before I can get myself together. My protection has never worked for me..

I never want to use this again - so my question is : If I never use the raiders option - can others still raid from me?

...frustrated...

Wartune does not have a raiders option. Which game do you play, so I can move the thread for you.
