The skills I used were slasher, ult slasher, argoran shield, reverse dmg, and Apollo shield. You basically want to make sure to keep up your reverse dmg as when he debuffs you it be 3x with less dmg. Having reverse dmg up at all times will make sure that you always have some sort of stable dmg going. Use shield when needed be and just combo like you do at WB. If need be pot up and scroll up as well as bring some runes. Eventually you will take him down after some practice of knowing when to use what skills at what time.
also if I may know, what lvl are ur slasher, ultimate slasher and agoran shield ?
Im still stuck at lvl 80 cataLast edited by -Minerva91-; 01-02-2013, 10:44 AM.Knowing Your Knight !!"Invincibility lies in the defence; the possibility of victory in the attack." - Sun Tzu

And what is your Patk when you cleared lvl 80?
Is it possible to clear using lvl 55 set?
What are the runes you used?62996

I know players will disagree with me here but I'll add my two cents:
The game rewards brute force mostly. Cata bosses (x0/x5) are no exception - though a little timing helps. What I did to beat cata 100 @ level 49/pre-1.45 was to use Slash, Enhanced Delphic, Delphic, Agoran. You can flip for Reverse or Ultimate Slasher though I went with the latter as I did not want any rage being used except for the ultimates and the skill was used when both ultimates were on cooldown (and rage generation was not an issue).
Pots: Best available - at least level 4, or level 5 strength and intelligence.
Runes: Rage, Brutality - debates continues on Guardian or Healing.
Scrolls: Any/All.
Rage: Maxed from level before boss.
The key is to combo whenever possible and be building rage for both your ultimates. This is necessary for lower level'ed/BR'ed players - as not only is it effective against Faye's debuffs but combo'ing is also doable with runes. You need every attack you can get - especially since you are a knight.
For me, my rule of thumb was: If I could deal 4x-5x more damage than my troops, they "tank" by going in the back row. If your troops can last about 1 1/2 bars of the boss, you should be in good shape. Critical advice is: You do not want your ultimate to be delivered under any debuffs. If the debuff happens, combo it away. You should get used to the timing.
You should punch through as many levels as possible but not so much level 100 since it isn't blitz-able - unless you can afford it. As you progress in level and BR, it gets easier (duh?).
One last note: You can easily get wiped if Faye gets her stun off on you and you have everything down pat. If that happens and it's a close battle beating her without the stun, don't feel so bad when you lose. :P
Apologies if anything seems "off" - these nail-biter days were quite some time ago so I could be missing something here.

For your brute force method, how much hp, patk, mdef after buff?62996
