How is it supposed now to contact friends when in MPD Area (eg: Spire, DI, EF) the friends Icon with PM possibility is gone and i can't see any alternative.

Thanks. I've spoken with many players who share your concern with the new friends chat system. We've forwarded on our concerns regarding the inability to see the chat icon in various instances of the game.
