Defence skills for GS

This is really annoying. We only get 4 of 6 pages of skills to chose from and those that were there for the first battle are randomly removed it seems. On top of that we get all the green/'blue for useful and purple versions of the skills that no one really wants to use. While we can see other side having those purple versions of the skills of the useful skills. How is this fair and why the hell those skills get removed? What's the point if they are there only one time and then gone?

I don't get this either. Each prep day, the skills differ from the last prep day.
