Exp scroll useless in catacombs?

I just noticed i get the same XP playing catacombs with or without EXP scroll.

That essentially means exp scroll is useless when playing catacombs which is a shame

It only affects exp gain in group dungeon and campaign.

Yeah, but still a lot of players doing the same mistake.
