It would be interesting if some skills can change the battle formation of the opponent, or your own, to an extent.
Example: Knights whirlwind would scramble opponents formation randomly, The ultimate Slash would make the knight a square forward, Rain of Fire would push all characters back a square, Multishot would pull an enemy closer if both shots are of the same target, etc.
It would be applicable to PvE or PvP, although most notably is PVP, there would be useful strategies involving PvE.
If PvP is too much to ask for, how about just implementing it in PvE?
