about crit points

i'v read somewhere that, crit points increase the crit damage including chances of crit?
i wanna know if its true or personal experiences of anyone or general consent
before i end up exchanging for an orange crit astral, getting nothing more than improved chances of an already good enough chance rate i got :-/

LIES. crit point never increase damage that's the reason archer sucks.

i dont know, i'm just a beginner. but i try putting cri astral and I got more times do cri damage with my normal atk ( w/o use skill )
but i cant say that much - -
