The sad part is that R2 let them get away with it.

If they took first, it is completely irrelevant where they started. They faced the toughest opponents and won by the end. IF they bothered to play with guild br, it is a mystery why, but all that would change is who they knocked out of contention in the prelims.

It's a massively stupid system, and first place is the ONLY rank that is assigned fairly, so complain all you want against anyone who took 2nd, 3rd, etc. But the only way to get 1st is to win every match, which no one else can do (barring a large enough starting field, and a very lucky low-br guild).

The pairing system is completely backwards, they match up the top two guilds in the prelims instead of the finals. Not sure how you can even complain about someones Br. Last i looked, no ones br was the same, and it differed vastly in the finals brackets as well, no idea how they configure it or why. Manipulation of the br? such a nasty word, we had some new players, didnt want to be involved in anumber 1 vs number 2 until the finals, until we had a chance to play with with our teams and get our strategy across to all players. Mr fancy pants is right, you have to win every match, theres no other way around it. We had spirited and tough opponents in diamond however, there were far too many guilds in diamond group that really didnt belong there, you want to complain about br manipulation? we had three guilds in diamond group with under 25 million br (estimated), how is that fair to all of the over 100 million guilds playing elsewhere? And the worst part? while playing those guilds in diamond group they had the gall to complain about us beating them.......

Next time you make it to diamond group pat yourself on the back, its not the easiest thing to do or everyone would be doing it.....

helios one? they were around for the second one. but they are nothing compared to what they were for the first.
I have to say they were quite easy the second time. And if they were really all that, they would win the test servers cross server too, but they havent....

That's nice of you to say, but we've had way too much attrition and no way to merge servers. And I don't think the top guild in our cluster could beat Deadly Sin either.
