It depends on your class.
If you're playing a knight and you have a proper tank build, then go with angels so they can heal you periodically. If you're playing an archer or mage, go with knights as they provide the slight bit of tanking that you need.
On my server, players use both troops, however. Angels for Forgotten Catacombs and knights for PVP.In-Game Name: Drayga
