Reduce damage that you take.
Exp, if it say reduce 40 damage, then;
normally you take damage by 1000, then with that astral, you just take 1000-40 = 960 damage.

Its great for dungeons and cata. Since mobs do so little dmg compared to players than it is a good one to have. If you plan on going deep in cata and arn't a mage than this may help you loads in the long run. If you get a orange one lvl 4 thats 160 dmg off of each hit. The giant eye usually do around 400-500 with most his skills.

it cant be stacked in astral with Goddes Blessing , so its only good for pve ...
