Those guilds that were inactive was in the top 16th cause they had alot of players and those inactive players with high battle ratings just sit in thier guild for inactive over 3 months ranking up the guild's battle rating forcing them to stay in the top 16th and the few members that are left don't care and just rack up the rewards after the 4 rounds is over.

A solution is that the System automatically searches for everyone in guild who has been offline for more then 30 days and forces the kick option which kicks players from thier guild lowering thier guild battle strength and removing them from the top 16th giving other guilds who have active members a chance to compete instead of 3 guilds who all show up to fight guild war so its 50 vs 50 not 50 players versus only 3 people who show up in that inactive guild. Problem solved.

You cannot automatically decide for a guild who derserves to be kicked!!

For instance, our founder moved to another server, but still visits us from time to time... I would certainly does not like it if he would be auto-kicked just for being away too long!

A much better idea would be to just not take into account members not connected since some time, for instance a month, when calculating the guild BR.
It would have the same effect without interfering with guild management.

Anyway, I am not sure it would really solve the "no show" problem. Consider a guild which has about 20 active quite HL (if not top 50) characters, among which some cannot regulargly attend GB. It is likely it can have some notable total BR, making it part of the top 16. After a few tries and humiliating defeats against much tougher/active guilds do you think its members will be highly motivated to attend if they know they are likely going to slaughter?

what i mean is a whole guild inactives. we had those. but still in top 16. some of the guild members(actives) already merge with other guild leaving the guild filled with ghost lol.

Who is more up to decide if a guild is dead than it own members? You? Probably not...

Just let the natural process happen: if a guild really does not have any actives left, it will soon enough drift out of the top 16. If it does not, it certainly means the guild is not as inactive as you think...

Just letting you know there is a feature already built into the game that has to do with Guilds. This feature involves removing the current Guild Master from his/her seat after he/she is offline for a certain amount of days. Once this feature is started, there is two ways this can end - if there is only one Assistant Guild Master, that player automatically takes his/her predessor's place OR if there are more than 1 Assistant Guild Masters, then a vote is held an once one of them wins the seat by popular vote, the Assistant GM becomes GM. Only way the original GM can keep his/her seat is by returning during the vote.

However if the GM doesn't return & his/her seat is taken, the system automatically kicks that player from the guild due to inactivity.
So when you think about it, a guild can be disbanded by the system - it'll just take a hell of a long time.

Another way a guild can get disbanded an this is RARE, is if a Game Master joins a guild an that guild doesn't kick that GM when ordered to. Yes there is a crazy rule set in place when a guild can get disbanded regardless of its rank, strength, numbers, doesn't matter - accidently get a GM in your guild, remove him/her asap or your guild will auto-disband (confirmed that with a few GMs in the servers).

Beyond that, could always join to become GM & kick everyone then disband the guild - but thats a sure fire way to **** off a great deal of people.

There is also the Natural Selection process of weekly Guild Tax, a truly dead guild will eventually run out of gold and be disbanded after 2 weeks of failing to pay their guild taxes.
