  • Troop enlightenment skill

    Hi all,

New player here and started just a few months ago. I would like to ask on what happens on the following scenarios relating to troop skills:
    • When charisma acquires a negative value from tattoo stats, are you no longer able to summon your troops, hence you lose the buff (BR) from your troop enlightenment skill?
    • When assigning a sub-eudo that replaces your troops, do you also lose your troop skill (say you lose the added HP, patk, matk, etc)?

    Thanks.

Yes and yes, but to be honest, the bonus from your troop is so little that once you reach negative charisma, you would had used sub-eud anyway because they are really stronger.
    Have a wonderful day

Assigning a Sub Eudaemon is much better than having ordinary troops with the specialty skill in the following ways:
      1. Euds can have skills but not delphics equipped. Troops come with a default sets of skills that cannot be modified.
      2. Euds that are built up (equipment, skill levels, war emblem, resistance, etc.) are much stronger than troops. Troops will barely get 1 or 2 little hits in before they die.
      3. Unlike troops, Sub Euds can equip sylphs as well as inherit that boosts that each type of sylph can sport (HP, ATK, DEF, MDEF).
      4. It won't cost you gold to have a Sub Eud; but it will cost you gold to replace your lost troops if you lose them instead.
      5. The BR table only gives you a small amount for having troops. Not having them through - Charisma or using a Sub Eud won't make much of a difference in BR.
      Vicious! Approach with Caution!
Because some noob has called me such and had said it so

Thanks for the detailed info Meikura and Pinkiepie. Can't verify it with my server cluster, so brought it here on forums.

No problem. Just bear in mind in order to use a Eud for the Sub slot, they must be awakened. To do that, you will have to have certain troops/specialties at a minimal level and 5 awakening crystals. For instance, if you want to use the Wind Ranger (1-Star) as a Sub:
          • Level 50 Knight; Level 3 Specialty Skill
          • Level 50 Angel; Level 3 Specialty Skill
          • 5 Awakening Crystal
For certain Euds to be used as subs, it will tell you under "Eudaemon Guide" as to what is needed for them to be awakened (1-Star).

Also, it's useful to know that, since it's quite expensive in terms of daru, you can transfer enlightenment skills between troop types, using the convert button in the troop upgrade page. It takes 2 mil daru to trade skills between different troops, but that is a much cheaper option than trying to get high level enlightenment on every type. The enlightenment level is swapped, though, so you still need to have two (or three) troop types at the required level.
So if you're trying to awaken a wind ranger, and you already have templar enlightenment at level 5 (or whatever), you can trade the templar level with knights, and then just raise the angel enlightenment level to 3.
This becomes extremely useful when you go to awaken (and upgrade) a second sub-eudaemon, since you can then just swap the level 10 enlightenments you have to the different troop types (still need to upgrade their level, though).
