Kabam and R2 games

Would like to ask if there's a difference between the servers hosted by R2 and Kabam?

there are a lot of differences, some obvious like where and how you login, some not so obvious, like r2 provides the majority of support for kabam games..... some very hard to see, like the link to kabam support, so players can file the tickets that come to r2 any way.......

there are also the events that differ between servers.....
