In a word NO.
Now before you all start ranting and raving about how much more gold an archer can make, and how important gold is, let me try and explain how I came to this conclusion.
I admit that on average I get more gold/daru in the World Boss than a knight/mage of the same level as me. Roughly I can get 30% more gold per world boss without too much trouble.
That said, gold is not used at the World Boss so lets take it to an area where gold is used -------------The Astral System.
Now here is where the evidence starts to mount up that an Archer should in fact be earning much more gold than any other class. Why you may ask....well let me break it down.
At lv 65 each character has 6 Astral slots available. What you equip is a matter of choice, but it is usual that the first three are used for
1. Patk/Matk
2. PDEF
3. MDEF
So that leaves 3 open slots.
Now a Mage/Knight chooses Enhanced will Destroyer. This is a good choice for PvP or PvE as Mage/Knight do not need crit hits to build rage!!
So the effect is that you gain X amount of damage to EACH and EVERY attack you do.
An archer can't really use Enhanced Will Destroyer as they depend on Crits to build rage, so what can an archer do to compensate.
Well you build your crit astral up right??? Well not really, as you actually have to build up 2 astrals !!!
1. Sniper's Edge - Which increases the Crit rate
2. Determination - Which increases the Crit base damage
But hold on, with both of those astrals in place we still can not guarantee that every hit will be increased by X amount. Every hit is not a guaranteed crit, so we are using 2 astral's for the CHANCE to gain better damage per hit!!
So in effect Archers have to use 2 Astrals to 1 for Mage's/Knight's to gain around 80% of the advantage Will Destroyer gives in PvP or PvE.
But we aren't finished there are we !!!!
Now as the Archers have had to use 2 Astral slot's to Mage/Knight 1 slot, that means Mages/Knights still have a slot to play with.
HMMMMMM.............. now in that free spot they can put any Astral they like. For example, lets put a Block astral there which reduces damage against Patk and Matk.
The effect of this is that now the archer has to level up another 2 of the base astrals to gain some sort of level playing field, the Mdef and Pdef ones!!
So in Conclusion
Archers need to level up 4 astrals compared to 2 astrals for Mages/Knights to gain only 80% of the advantages.
Archers are in fact the weakest class in the game once you hit around lv65 or so. Comparing them to Mages/Knights of the same level/equipement and cash spent etc etc etc....
The effect of giving everyone the same gold from World Boss would be catastrophic for archers, and in effect would remove them from the game altogether as they would not be able to compete in any area of the game!!!
SO THE WORLD BOSS REWARDS ARE NOT FAIR, EVERYONE IS RIGHT IN THAT MATTER.
BUT THE REWARDS SHOULD ACTUALLY BE INCREASED FOR ARCHERS OR REDUCED FOR THE OTHER CLASSES TO REFLECT THE INCREASED GOLD USAGE THAT PLAYING AS AN ARCHER REQUIRES!
