Questions about Critical

So I've been playing with a mage, and she has about 572 crit. But I just never crit against players, while I crit on like every hit against world boss... Can anyone please explain to me? It's making me feel crit is useless

is crit against mobs and crit against people very different?

WB has an enhanced crit rate for all classes was added during an update a little ways back. 572 crit on the whole is a rather low stat to be using against other players (depending on your level.) Not to mention any crit reducing astrals they may be using.

Work hard and get that stat up, if you wanna stay with crit. It does have its rewards

Like the other said, yes, your crit point are low.
Even with 2k crit that will be barely make it.

My suggestion is;
Start using will destroyer. That's astral are more dependable rather that crit.
And when it's boss time, switch back to your crit and determinant astral.

Well, I'm level 33 ish

and yeah i haven't managed to get my hands on the will destroyer...
what is a high crit then?

maybe try get 1000+, i think it gonna be good for ur lvl

As Nubito said, I think 1k+ should be enough at that level. But if you want to continue critting be prepared to raise your crit over 3k after level 60. If you can't, as a mage in PvP, will destroyer is the way to go (it gives a static and a reliable bonus to damage that is overall greater if your crits aren't reliable).
