Bound and Unbound

What is meant by bound and unbound? And what difference do they make?

If we had the ability to trade items, the unbound ones could be traded. Bound items are forever linked to your char and cannot be traded.

Currently, we have no trading system, so it makes no difference at all other than taking up an extra space in your bags.
