I think, Asst.Guildmaster must also have rights to upgrade guild. Otherwise all progress is get stuck in guildmaster's online presence. All of us have real life, so not-every-day-activity is possible.

Being able to change permissions would be nice. The GM of our guild went inactive. Lucky though he came back and passed leadership to another person.

+1 to this, its hard to upgrade/buy stuff for the guild when the guildmaster is offline
