Level 1 purge rune useful in CW duels for knight?

Title pretty much says it... for a knight, is it worth using the lvl 1 purge rune to get the shield off your opponent?

If so, which do you replace... brutality or heal?

Any knights around who have tried this out?

I'd say replace for a brutality, because you will do more damage in the end purging than you would using brut. Just my opinion.
