  • Mage WB Rotration, is Critical Build Still Worth it?

    Hello,

    before the recent update i used to be in the top 3 on WB on my mage almost always, sometimes even 1st depends who online... (without 100% boost or CD - only vouchers),
    but now after this update i can berly get inside the top 10 - usaly i am not even there, everyone there are archers and sometimes a warrior or 2.

    now after the recent update i cannot combo - double hit the WB, i tried taking off the sypht and tried alot of diffrent rotrations. but none 100% succesfull for me yet,

    so i wanna ask if any1 can share if experience if he has found a good rotration for mage - PVE set (starting with 31 rage) so cannot thunder on second attack also.

    also i got atm red critical lvl 6 + determination lvl 6 (using those on WB) - with full WB build i get to around 3.5k critical.
    i also got EWD lvl 8, i recetly tought about throwing the critical astrals (critical + determination) into the EWD and get it to 9 as my WB is not what it used too.

    so any suggestions and rotrations experience are welcome.

    It all depends if you actually manage to double hit... im in top 10 almost on every WB.

    Im going for bolts and thunderer's only, i always leave enough rage so i can start the next round again with thunderer, perfect run i get 3 thunderer's and auto + bolt only.

    I dont manage to double hit everytime but its improving with training.

    I have level 6 deter and level 5 red focus + LD.

      Don't critical is still best in WB, even thought you dont get top 1-3, you get #1 mage for 300k, +360k from 1% dealt.

        Crit build is still best so far i know.

        My brother and myself both tested EWD and crit.
        Character name: Silence

        Class: mage.

        Server: 490.

        Level 44.

          Im getting all the doubles I did before the patch (everyone one except for the 2 thunders I throw is a double). The only thing I had to do was change the placement of my thunders instead of first and third they are now first and second. I still get my lb doubles and my two rof doubles.

            i am always first on wb whit 1m-1,5m dmg more than 2.. 4,5k critc here cheers

              Still not sure what the best rota is, I'm getting good results with the following:

              Thunder - bolt - thunder - auto+bolt - bolt - auto+bolt
              Thunder - auto+awaken - 3rd - 1st - 2nd - auto+2nd (appolo sylph)

              Can't use awaken on every attempt obviously, so alternate between the two. Pve set required ofc.

                    You can't auto+anything on 2nd turn if you start with thunderer. At least not on our server.

                      i do atm this

                      rof > auto + light > thunderer > auto + light > thunderer > auto + rof

                      is awakning worth it? does it make more dmg?

                        increases my gold only when i use sylph at battle start thou dunno iskip almost al wb

                          The short answer, imo: yes. Iris has a spammable 160% attack, after all. That's on par with L5 RoF, so better than bolt by a long shot.

                            Miss my Speedy chimp rota !
                            Mages gat **** hard by this patch in the wb part , Archers do the same *** b4 patch even more and knights gat huge boost coz they can do they delphics ,

                            My rota is : meteor, auto-bolt, thunder, rof, auto-bolt, meteor , awaken , seems little slow and u need pve set and high crit
