Increased mining aspect for future trade players

I think it would be awesome to increase the mining of copper/wood/amethyst and/or additional material that can be made into things and sold. This would work especially well with a new class of merchant and increased trade playability... I always enjoyed the trade aspects of games such as eve, ultima online, earth and beyond, etc. I would love to see that more here!
