Enhanced Will Destroyer Versus Critical for Knights/Mages

Its been heavily emphasized on my server that EWD (Enhanced Will Destroyer) is better to use for knights and mages.

My question for discussion is:

"Based on your experience, do you have more success on a PvP Level with Critical or EWD?"

Please list your level, class, astral level (and whether you use critical or EWD of course =P)

Thanks for your responses--I am currently a level 67 Knight with EWD and making hay in BG. Working well.

PS: What % of your hits do you estimate Critical when using crit?

EWD + ER LVL 10 BOTH archer no one can stand in my sight

Rate of critting around 70%? Definitely doing better than EWD.

As an archer I haven't had much victories with EWD, I find that racist .

stick with ewd,later when u are 100k+ br switch to critical(just as notice on high lvl u will need more critical as critical chance drops as lvl goes up,7000+ crit at 80 lvl if u want decent critical chance)

I always switch to ewd for serious pvp, like cw...kind of hard to make room for the crit otherwise, in terms of gems etc ^^ Too many people also use ga astral at 80 for this making crit not a good choice, for me atleast

I only have 5.5k crit which is low =( so I will be EWD + GA for CW

Level 70 mage crit 4700 and around 50-60 % crit attacks. I do more damage as with WD and my defense is not compromised jet. If I go higher with crit points my defense will be compromised at this level. The only way is to upgrade my crit astral and Enhanced determination. My crit astral is level 7 and my enhanced determination level 8.

Mark my words: the main reason to make people switch to crit build is because of electro sylph, keep in mind EWD can't work with electro slyph, you will see I am right.

btw, i'am crit type, but planing to change it into EWD

You might want to rethink that, unless you can match a 140k crit from a green 1 star electro sylph with your EWD.

70% of sylphs on the CN servers are dark. Electro is good for pve, dark owns PvP.

it is still not clear to me on the real description of electro sylph skills. Someone says, when u take damage u get +% dmg. Someone else saying, when you attack you get +% dmg. How many skills boost Critical chance? How many skills boost Critical damage? How many skills boost all damage (crit and noncrit)?
