For those who are too lazy to hunt out info

    Battle Protection

    1. Battle Protection has two parts: Reduce Resistance and Resistance. It is always active (it doesn’t matter whether your sylph is awaken or not.)

    2. Empowering only works in the new dungeons of the expansion. It doesn’t work in old dungeons before level 80.

    3. This feature is unlocked once you reach level 55 and you will need to take a Sylph with you in the battle. Sylph’s Attributes will decide you’re the Attributes of your Hero’s Reduce Resistance.

    ● Introduction

    1. Reduce Resistance increases the damage your hero causes to his enemies.

    2. Resistance reduces the damage your enemies cause you. There are six types of Resistance: Wind, Fire, Water, Electricity, Light, and Dark (which are the attributes of six different sylphs).

    ● Attributes

    1. The attribute of the active Sylph decides the attribute of your Hero’s Reduce Resistance.

    2. Hero’s “Resistance” with the same attribute as the target’s “Reduce Resistance” will work against the “Reduce Resistance”. (For example, “Fire Resistance” works against “Fire Reduce Resistance”, and so on.)

    ● Reduce Resistance and Resistance

“Reduce Resistance” always works against all types of “Resistance”. 100% skill damage, plus extra damage, will be caused to you targets when hero’s “Reduce Resistance” is higher than the target’s corresponding “Resistance”. When hero’s “Reduce Resistance” is lower than its target’s corresponding “Resistance” by a certain amount, the damages will be reduced greatly.

“Resistance” with the same attribute as the target’s “Reduce Resistance” will work against the “Reduce Resistance”.

(For example, “Fire Resistance” works against “Fire Reduce Resistance”, and so on.)

    ● Rules

    Damage (when A attacks B) = 100% + [(A’s Reduce Resistance – B’s Corresponding Resistance) / 10]%

    Damage Received (B to A) = 100% – [(A’s Corresponding Resistance – B’s Reduce Resistance) / 10]%

About Resistance (it increases your resistance to damage)

The “Resistance“ works against target’s “Reduce Resistance”. There’re six types of Resistance based on the attribute.

A “Resistance” with a same attribute as the target’s “Reduce Resistance” will work against the “Reduce Resistance”. (For example, “Fire Resistance” works against “Fire Reduce Resistance”, and so on)

A certain “Resistance” = Total stats of Hero’s Corresponding Resistance Crystals + Corresponding Resistance of an Active Sylph.

Players can view “Resistances” in heroes’ profile panel. Hero’s battle rating is independent from “Resistances”.

    1) How does “Resistance” work?

Level limit: After the Sylph is unlocked at level 50

6 types of “Resistance”: Fire, Water, Wind, Electricity, Light and Dark. They are leveled up separately.

A “Resistance” with same attribute as the target’s “Reduce Resistance” will work against the “Reduce Resistance”. (For example, “Fire Resistance” works against “Fire Reduce Resistance”, and so on)

    2) Upgrade “Resistance”

A certain “Resistance” = Total Stats of corresponding Resistance Crystals + Corresponding Resistance of Active Sylph

Resistance Crystals can be placed in any Resistance slot inside the Shields (like Wood Shield, Iron Shield and so on). But players can only put one Crystal of the same kind in one Shield, having three different Crystals at most.

    3) Unlock Shields

Wood Shield is unlocked once you reach level 55.

Requirements must be fulfilled to unlock Shields.

The last Shield not available for the moment.

You can obtain Kingdom Mark (used to unlock Shields) through completing Battle Protection quests.

Reduce Resistance (it increases damage to targets)

“Reduce Resistance” always works against all types of “Resistance”. 100% skill damage plus extra damage will be caused to targets when hero’s “Reduce Resistance” is higher than the target’s corresponding “Resistance”. When hero’s “Reduce Resistance” is lower than target’s corresponding “Resistance” by a certain amount, the caused damage will be reduced greatly.

Unlike “Resistance”, players don’t upgrade different types of “Reduce Resistance” according to the attribute. The “Reduce Resistance” attribute changes automatically with the active Sylph, while its value remains the same. “Reduce Resistance” works whether the Sylph is awake or not.

Players can check their “Reduce Resistance” in hero’s profile panel.Battlerating is independent from the “Reduce Resistance”.

    1) General

Level limit: After the Sylph is unlocked at level 55

Attribute: The attribute of Hero’s active sylph decides his “Reduce Resistance” attribute. (That is, with an active Fire Sylph, player’s “Reduce Resistance” is Fire Reduce Resistance.)

    2) Effect

Hero’s original Reduce Resistance is 0.

When hero’s “Reduce Resistance” is higher than target’s “Resistance”, his skills will be 100% effective.

    3) Upgrade “Reduce Resistance

Hero’s “Reduce Resistance” is calculated by adding the stats of all the Will Crystals that have been socketed on the hero.

Will Crystal can only be placed in “Reduce Resistance” slots

    How to upgrade Resistance Attribute

Hero’s different types of “Resistance” are shown on the profile panel. The value will be shown in red when it’s less than 0 or in green when it’s normal.

    1) How to get materials for Crystal synthesis?

ResistanceCrystal: Available to heroes of any level in Treasure Hunt or Hot Events.

Will Crystal: Not available at the moment.

    2) How to synthesize these Crystals

Players can synthesize Will Crystals and Resistance Crystals in Blacksmith.

Materials and their amounts required for synthesizing different Crystals vary. Please check the game for details.
