Don't feed the troll. I like the idea of the thread and look forward to the progression of the idea. Certainly doesn't hurt anyone.

Condor you have 67 people on the list of nominees and only the top 16 are the only ones moving forward from this round? As it's not a tourney style bracket you're organizing this as, why not make it top 24 or even 30? While ultimately only one person will win, there're going to be a toooooon of wasted votes by dumping 3/4 of the participant list. The whole point (if I'm not mistaken) of having successive rounds of voting is to consolidate the votes to get a more accurate picture among voters.

I think there will be less than 30 distinct players receiving votes. Unless there's a last minute surge.
