Glad you noted it can only be redeemed once per day since the event only lasts one day. The rewards aren't even worth collecting.

The Engagement Ring will be there even after your VIP expires, you do not have to worry about it magically disappearing, for there is no expiration date until you get engaged. Once you become engaged, then the ring will have an expiration date and will disappear unless you get married by the expiration date specified by the ring. This expiration date can be seen by hovering your cursor over the ring.
