        Well there goes another blitz. Again. We'd like a little bit of an advanced notice about maintenance please, especially if it could result in data loss if we don't log out, which most don't because we don't know about the maintenance. Claiming "emergency" is not a valid reason for not notifying us.

            If online games have the same rules as supermarkets ect that have items for sale,
            then i think that anyone that took advantage of this R2 mistake would have a case with Trading Standers if R2 were to rollback the servers.
            As if i went into a supermarket and saw any item in that supermarket and it was priced at say £20,
            Then i went to the checkout to pay £20 for that item, and the person at that checkout said.
            "I am sorry but this item is priced wrong this item should be £50",
            then i am almost certain that i would be able to go to the trading standards about it.
            As this is the sellers mistake not the buyers. So the seller of the item should honor there mistake.

              At least the developers from Proficient City gave an announcement when they went down today for the same maintenance.From their post, they said, it will take approximately 2 hours. On the other hand, i laugh on the announcement we get.

                      Actually, it depends on your jurisdiction. In some, a tag on an item is an "invite for offer" only. It means that the price on the tag is not the final price, but an indication of the price that the vendor is looking for. The vendor does NOT have to honour it, but most will due to customer goodwill and good customer service.

                      R2 has proven time and again that customer service and customer goodwill is the LAST thing they care about, so if they are in an "invite for offer" jurisdiction, you have no recourse. All they have to do is say, "Oh, sorry, that is a mistake. The actual price is xyz." and they get away with it. They cannot, of course, take your money and run. They will still have to ask you if you still want it at the "real" price, which is what happens if R2 roll back the servers.

                      As far as I know, there aren't many jurisdictions that forces compliance to the tagged price. In fact, I can think of none.

                            I know that China is just starting a capitalist economy and that modern western economies are based on an evolution of more than 5.000 years, meanwhile China abandoned it's own traditions and adopted the western model just 28 years ago and incompletly due to ideologically limitations. During this emergency maintenance, I got bored and browsed the Web for news about your company. What I found, is catastrophic. Nearly any mention on blogs and Web pages from the gamer scene, is about reporting fraud and scam suspicion, or even concrete accusation. I like a lot this game I play on your servers, wartune, as it's graphics remind me the good old PC game Diablo, and as I enjoy having anonymous but continuous chats, as a distraction during 7/16 work shifts in my own company's build up and management. My company is specialized on recovery of rotten companies and badly guided national economies. Therefore we now have set up new headquarters in a country where the next years will bring the need of a reconstruction in dimensions only comparable with the european needs after World War II, in Venezuela.                                 what a suprise all bugs and problems are still there ... but seriouslly, why do we need maint when there's nothing done?

                                it is too old for a show, but i guess you still enjoy it
