    As far as I'm aware, the pink baron card was not yet recyclable. I'm sitting on one of those from a recent event. Perhaps you've confused these two with different mounts?

        The only thing I can think of is some of the non recyclable mounts would give a ton of beast souls. Making us wait a very long time to recycle them, if they ever do become recyclable, is a way to pace us with gaining beast souls. Not at all an official answer, of course.
