Wartune GameRocks Server Merges for 3/13 @ 05:00 AM EDT / 2:00 AM PDT

A server merge is scheduled for Wednesday, the 13rd of March beginning at 05:00 AM EDT / 02:00 AM PDT (09:00 AM GMT, and 5:00 PM GMT +8). These servers will be down for approximately 2 to 4 hours to allow for adequate testing, but could be longer. Please watch this thread for any updates or changes.


The following servers to be merged are:

East Coast Servers

• S48,S51,S56,S58,S61,S63,S80,S87,S89,S91,S93,S98,S100,S102,S104,S112,S114,S250,S251 and S253 will be merged together.

West Coast Servers

• S18,S21,S23,S27,S28,S38,S40,S50,S52,S68,S70,S206,S209,S212,S216,S219,S222,S225,S228,S231,S234,S237 and S252 will be merged together.

In order to avoid the loss of any character information, please refrain from making any new characters on these servers until after the merge has been completed.

To help with potential name conflicts, we will be removing unused characters that fit the following strict guidelines:
A character must not have logged in within the last 45 days.
Be under level 12 and their castle must be on the Twilight Coast.
Have no Balens.
Have no record of ever recharging.
Not be in a guild.


Only a character who meets all five of the conditions above will be deleted.

All character data will be preserved (including items, skills, pets, stats, mounts, Gold, Honor, Honor ranking, Daru, Kyanite, Balens, Vouchers, level, Battle Ranking, Academy information, Friend lists, Astrals and VIP statuses). Guild membership, friends and black listed players will be preserved. Current quest progress will also be preserved. The only thing that will change is that all player's Castles will move to Twilight Coast. The Server Rankings list will be cleared, but will repopulate the next time it updates after the merge is complete.

Character Names:
A character's name will only be changed if characters on different servers have the same name. In that case, the character on the newer server will have -S## added to the end of their name. For Example: RoryWilliams on Boneyard (S17) would be RoryWilliams-S17 after the merge, but only if there was a RoryWilliams on S12.
Upon logging into your character after the merge, if your name was changed to include -S17, a popup window will open up allowing you the chance to change your name. To continue the example, RoryWilliams-S17 would log in and get a window asking to change his name. He could change it to RoryPond and the -S17 would be removed from his name.


Guild Names:
A Guild's name will only be changed if guilds on different servers have the same name. In that case, the guild leader of the guild on the newer server will get a popup window upon logging in to change the name of their guild.
Should the guild leader choose not to change the name of their guild, they will not be able to access their guild interface. Attempts to access the guild interface will only open the name change popup until the Guild's name is changed.
Guild members will also be unable to access their guild interface until the name is changed.
After the Server Merge, the Official Website, server names, and login entrance will remain the same. Players will login to their character though their original server. If a player has a character on both servers, you will continue to access the same character associated with a particular server as before the merge.

254 is not old or dead yet on gamerocks since its not even over a month old

but pretty bad they merge new made servers that are not even few month old with a old server group where tons are above the80m biggest there are around the 140m at least they basically are scre wed big time

feel a bit sorry for those new server player even so i bet most where made with the latest reward thing to make toon on other server ****.... so bet its tons of exta toons that are dead already but all lvl13 atleast so they never will be removed from the game again

am not gonna log in on a new server i have 1 toon 1 server ..

that is already part of the problem people keep making new toons on new servers, bet part of your server problem that is why now dead server

Looking at the speed they do the merging you be fast in a old server anyway with a bit of luck even on a server you originally already have a toon on hahhahahahaahahaha

Lol i do feel sorry for you that you got on a server where is nothing left cause most there where probably just extra toons made as what happens often, and you lelft behind.

But you have not to worry since they merge 253 now you should be up in max 2 weeks... easy to figure out just by looking at all the posts in gamerocks section and ya be with older servers with a bit of luck even active So good luck at your west coast server cluster .......

its about time they pulled their fingers out and merged the last remaing europe g m t servers together

every 2 or 3 weeks they open a east / west server then 2 weeks after that merge them endless circle no wonder bigfrosty has less inactives around in his 254 server cuz ppl fed up making alt accounts every time they open a new server their

its about time they stopped makin new servers concentrate on the old existing servers make the old players happy for once

Why the hell did you guys kill 6 week old servers etc by merging them with servers that are years old? IE Elatian etc 100 plus brs are merged into a 6mil top br server!! In the amount of time playing this game i have never seen wartune kill off a game so quickly as this.

they been killing game since xmas

as long as new players join new servers spend like crazy then they merge to 100+mill br servers yes its disheartening and they quit then they move to next new server spend like crazy again merge again (endless cycle) ur only feeding their wallets

no wonders theirs lag everywhere and data overloads with dead players and alts hanging around no wonder most ave stopped spending cuz they too lazy to fix lag and other major problems

but no its ok west and east coast servers spend like crazy as soon as a new server comes u idiots keep feeding their wallets

Thats good to know thanks and as a top ten player for free on there like most "were" on s252 its really sad that all players get labelled by morons, real shame.

Eliatan*, And i'm not liking there decision on merging a new sever with a 6 year old sever. i knew my sever needed a merge but this merge was kinda a waste of a maintenance cause the new guys get screwed over and there's no competition for rankings.
