Event , Exchange Dragon Essence .

how do i get these items ?
There is only 1 event that I am eligible for that has them , Faction contribution , which rewards only 5 .
Please explain to me how I would ever accumulate 100's let alone 1000's , when event only lasts 1 day ?

Easy way - buy dragon essence chest. Hard way - store and recycle in blacksmith mount card shard.
