  • Login Issue Tool

In order to help with ongoing login issues with our various games, our IT department has created a simple BAT file for players to run to help gather data that can help them with tracking down problems. If you're having login or loading issues, download the attached zip file, open it, run the BAT file and then take a screenshot of the results. The results should look something like this:

When reporting on a login issue in a thread, in addition to another other helpful information you can give (game, server #, screenshot of login issue) if you could include a screenshot of this test, it would certainly help. Thank you.

Oddly enough, same problem... connection dropped around 15:00 local, only getting a black screen ever since when I try to log in... have, obviously, tried all the usual things, clearing cache, restarting router, etc.

        C:\Windows\system32>nslookup s1-sw.r2games.com
        Server: BThomehub.home
        Address: 192.168.1.1

        C:\Windows\system32>pause
Press any key to continue . . .

It can if you want to run it through wine or dosbox.

here's a nice tutorial on using wine for .bat files: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMuRKbozM2k

for mac you can use terminal or network tools for terminal just type nslookup s1-sw.r2games.com for network tools just type s1-sw.r2games.com. I am sure the commands are similar on Linux.
