Divinity souls & sylph equipment

As I understand it, sylph equipment does come into play in sylph arena and also in battle with players.

My question is: Would it be better to place MATK divinity souls on those sylphs that are magic based, i.e. Apollo/Athena, Iris/Triton and Eve/Hercules?

Being an archer I am using PATK for my Cerberus as it is physical and that is my base attack stat and I swap sylph gear between my sylphs when changing.
Does the PATK Divinity Soul hinder my Triton considering that sylphs augment hero's highest attack regardless of whether the sylph is magic or physical?

If sylph primary attribute is int then you get MATK gems and vice versa, check the sylph stats with and without the gems and you will notice its directly related to.

So you get MATK gems on your Triton and then thats added to your toon main attribute (your patk+sylph matk altogether on sylph form)

You want MATK divinity soul in your sylph that use MATK, and you want PATK divinity soul in your sylph that use PATK.

Why there are 2 types of earing and "accy." (whatever this means) when they have exact same bonus, can be used in any of the 2 slots and even can use same 2 in same sylph?

FYI - accy = accessory.

But I have come to the conclusion that it would be prudent from the start to build two sets - 1 physical and 1 magic and just swap to sylphs as needed.

You mean like having 2 different set for your sylph and your 3 sylph will need to share it?

Precisely, one set for AQ, Pan & Hades (physical) and one set for Iris, Eve, Apollo (Magical).

Eventually with the way these shards are dropping, each sylph will be able to have its own set.

I do not think the gear stacks like mounts.The gear is sylph specific so I do not think it will stack. It will only offer the attributes of the sylph that is equipped at the time.

Hp transfers to the char like it used to be, the rest of stats work sylphed.

well...my 3 sylph have their own full set right now.
And I'm planing to give them all specific gems depending on what role they have in my sylph team (like more DEF for my tank sylph for example).
I'm already sitting on 6 hundred sylph equipment shards and I heard that a stack for that is only 999 instead of 9999

This is correct. I have 1200 shards in two stacks.
