so my friend tells me to come play this game,he tells me its really important to camp a long time at lvl 55,so in the time your camping are not lvl 80s getting stronger while your busy twiddling your thumbs? isnt it better to plow mode to 80 so u can get top end rewards asap?or is this game just an illusion where u will never catch up unless u spend crazy amounts of cash?

Also, your friend may have been playing a long time, since camping around 55 was good strategy once upon a time. Like 2013 or so.

Camping gives you more honor and talents and more skillpoints and tattoo slots when you hit level 80 but you ll loose many purgatory maze and dragon invasion items. Others will be stronger because they have lvl 80 set holy forged and with that power they go further in other instances

NO.
those are just illusions. you actually gain more exp for talents when not camping because you have access to higher level dungeons.
and lol at camping giving more skill point and tattoo.
in the end, 1 year old toons of someone who didnt camp will be much stronger than someone who camped for 1 year then hit lvl 80

I started playing wartune early November 2015, rushed to lvl 80 and sitting at 5.1mil br right now. I am pretty much f2p(i buy vip only). I just recently reached knighthood as well. This will give you an idea what your br will be within 8 months. Mind you i did get a lot of help from my guildmates early on.

That was good advice right before Sylphs were introduced to the game……
Back then It made sense because for PVP matching guys at your level could never defeat you in Arena once you camped.
The matching system now is broken.

To camp now is useless…

Nope, it's a lie. Heavy moderate/spenders who started around this timeframe barely have around 6/7 milions.

Depending on if upcoming "player automaticly gains 10% exp on login" means devotion exp or toon exp camping will be either discouraged or outright impossible.

Rushing to lv80 has this major advantage, that you'll be able to find teams for mpd's.
But after you'll get your sylphs to orange levels and get red gear, progression pretty much reaches almost dead stop. Henna gains are painfully slow, adv sepu and mahra are extremely hard to obtain in meaningfull amouts without (heavy) spending, holly forge can get you only so far.
But progressing with main server mass makes it easier to stay social, while camping is lonely road.

But truth is, if you enjoy battlegrounds, only 2 options to rather enjoy it is to either camp or spend truckloads of money.
Because battlegrounds at level 80 are pretty much enter for devotion and instantly leave (because in reallity lv80 battleground is lv80-160+KH bracket).
And with arena matching changed into "feed low lvl players to vets", battleground is pretty much only thing you'll do untill server population inevitebly dwindles and you find yourself spot in arena/DI/BI groups.

don't underestimate the power of friendship.
when i first returned to play this toon full time, i had very tiny br.
got a good team (NOT top players-highest was ranked 50+ on server) and did all runs for 33 days, and my br was raised by 1.5m.
and then team was disbanded and i did all runs solo again (and skipped those that can't be done alone), and needed like 4 months for about the same progress.
we could barely clear ef hell. never able to do tok. did spire normal only. di was only 12 levels. arena was still solo for me (time mismatch).
but even with such mediocre rewards it still helped 4x more than doing things all alone. 33 days vs. 4 months for 1.5m br increase each.
i got no new mounts (still have only 11k mount strength) and skipped dimensions & archaeology for all these times. it was really teamwork that had helped.
if R2113217037 received help from any top player, and paid for vip (had more dimensions), 5.1m br (including medallion & blessing & temp mounts) in 8 months is definitely doable, possibly doable as a 100% non-spender as well.
plus...5.1m with kh is a bit small *sweats* if the big guys don't carry him, he would not be able to level at all.
it's sad tho, big guys on my server only run with their own team and will help at most 2 high ranked officers (need to be their g m or an assistant who could substitute g m) per day.
people in here generally don't run with those with br 500k or more below them, or they will ask for a 99 or 999 rose for every time they help (even for 2 rounds of arena), which is too demanding to be fulfilled.
I'm not kidding you. half the top guys still need to send a 11 rose to get a farm revive, or no one would do it for them even after begging for 50 minutes. and the top guy added players with much lower br than me to chaos list simply because they had high office while i didn't.
that kind of server is fated to die off and rank low for any cross server events.
i'm leaving again, and returning to my old server. even though it's more dead and weaker, nowhere is comparable to sweet home.

No amount of help will get you the advanced henna needed to make knighthood that fast(unless your team is helping you with their credit cards). VIP only, it's not possible to have the tattoo requirements for kh that quickly.

If you're getting carried through tok & di daily to get a lot of rewards, you're well-stocked on whips, hooves, and gold to participate in events. Knighthood is relatively believable. I know a few players who haven't spent anything and already got knighthood, although they have all been around longer than 8 months.
There's such a huge deficit for any free player in things like gems, crystals, mounts, clothes, titles, etc., though, that 5.1M BR is pretty hard to believe. It's not impossible, but it's at the extreme end of what is possible

IMHO gem boxes are a bit more generous comparing to how stingy they are for all other boxes.
clothing titles and drop rate are nerfed since march, so he did get 4 months of full clothing title events.
crystals would be a grind. but doing 5 big dimensions daily would probably catch it up.
not saying 5.1m in 8 months is easy for vip-only, but i think it's possible.
i gained 3m+ in 5 months with only 1 month having some help. it's about the same pace for 5.1m in 8 months.
no vip and no balens offer in here. i'm on stingy kabam.

Only way I see that happening is being unemployed and disabled without very many obligations outside of the game. I work full time and barely manage to log in once a day for an hour..
