nope u not the only one get those celestial stone, i got like 2-4 per day. so rare on will crystal like once per week for me.
i think to beat 3-5, u need to have few thing first. like dont matter if u use hade or hercule, but need 1 of them to be 500+ res ( exaple if u use hercule, u want to have 500+ on eletric, if u use hade, u want to have 500+ on dark) 500+ = 60% dmg reduce.
second. u kinda need mire rune if u are mage. basiclly very similar to beat necro 30 boss, same rotation and same strategy, but to necro boss u want more on damager incase he enrage before u kill it, for 3-5, is about survival. cause 3-5 hit alot harder then necro boss. add me on skype i can tell u more detail step by step when u fight the boss, my skype is : aaron sushi wartune. hope this will help. gl

One quick clarification: You mention having 500+ resistance, electro resist using herc., and dark resist using hades. Doesnt this boss do dark dmg??? wouldnt you want to have 500+ dark resist regardless of slyph u have or am i missing somthing regarding how resistance works.

It doesn't matter which type of reduction you have. All mods in PVE are being reduced by your highest resist.
The fact that it's dark sylph, means only that using dark will make you dealing less dmg. But anwyay as he mentioned it's more about surviving there. I think i'll pass it on next year ...

the res def is on you own, mean if you use hercule = u are using eletric as ur def. u dont have to worry about what boss are except wind boss, cause wind kill eletric, but for any others boss, if u use eletric, u just need to stack eletric crystal, dont worry about boss element. ( example when i fight 3-5, i got 500 eletric res when i use hecule and i got -100 dark res, but she hit me around 50-90k, but if i use hade and only got 400 dark resist, she hit me over 120k) so u dont need to bother with what element boss are, u
focus on what sylph u use, and stack that crystal = defence. i hope this will clear up.
