Special Characters need to be removed

This has become an issue again for me :/

The knight that recently won classwars on the European cluster containing kabam-67 (my main server) has a name that causes my flash to crash.
The means I can't walk past the statue in cloud city without crashing, and I can't do ToK NM either.
Seems to have subtly changed names in the last day, as was ok facing him in tok nm last week.

-_- i didnt have any problem w/ that, maybe you need to upgrade ur flash player or ur computer. even i play on any windows 7-8-10 nothing been crashing my computer even i use special character symbol nothing happening to bug me.
than again if u crushing, u must have open other windows or do to ur account in computer cant handle the loading points. everybody using special character name or symbol but nothing really bother me at all and u didnt need to say to them banned just becuz of tht "special character" is ruining u and having trouble crushing.
beside the player didnt do anything or abused u etc etc.

Like Meikura001 say: This game has been done for a very long time, so those problems you might have might be of something else that is already in game and not of these special characters you have mentioned.
(since someone like you just post the word out but no screenshot what u just mention abut, plus doesn't make anything that is your game really crushing or not.)

Yes, they really do need to get rid of the special characters. I'll never understand why they allowed players to have all kinds of funky symbols and such for their character's names. I've already seen a number of characters with expletive words for their names using some of the special characters.

Why -_- cuz we player want to keep using the name, even after merge few or some player or hasn't come online to play there steal the name that player want to keep it and don't like to change name. Only keep the name is change the character letter like symbol.
I don't like having number in my name cuz I don't like it, and there no rules why not be more create making symbol or handwriting name if we want to keep that name, and the name isn't abused to R2 or any bad word. it just that we want to keep the name when we first play the game and keep it.
There are nice player and there know your name even if you in different server so there know you still playing in this game. But if you change the name no one know who you we are, are the same person. For me I cant kept my name when my server merge but I like the name that I place it better off making a symbol to keep tht way.
If you don't like or you say oh its these thing somehow crushing ur game, but other ppl seem fine and there didnt complain abut it. beside this game wartune been almost like 4yr now and whtever i see ppl having symbol or different character on there name, i didnt get any crush. So in order for you to keep your name in a server merge, you have to use a string of meaningless dribble? That is a load of bollocks, to be honest. If that were the case, I would be seeing names like "♫Bonehead" or "BigΩFist", but instead I see the names(if you would even call it that) filled with these characters. Those characters that you have mentioned there are not the only ones. There are a number of others as well.

As for my laptop computer, it is perfectly fine and is probably more powerful than the desktop computers most players use when playing this game. My system still runs just as good as the day when I first got it. I don't get viruses or malware on my system, and in the event that I do get something on my system, it is automatically removed by antivirus software. If the antivirus program misses it, it gets removed as soon as the system is rebooted. As for getting a rootkit infection, very unlikely as well(I'm sure someone will mention this). The only people/idiots that usually get something like that is due to not updating their software and/or going to pornographic websites or other places that offer pirated material(music, games, software), game cheat programs, etc.

The special characters have no affect on how the game performs on my laptop. My issue is that it looks stupid and leaves open the question of how you refer to someone that has £ó┘╪ for their name? alt+412 alt+418 alt+473 alt+472?
